Children's Books

The first book I would like to share is by Patrick McDonnell. He is the cartoonist of the Mutts comic strip, which is my favorite. So, when I saw that he also wrote children's books I had to get one from the library to read to Kip. It was a keeper.

This book has simple pictures with color and not too many words so is great for little ones. It is about a kitten that travels all over the world giving hugs to different animals. It is a great book for teaching kindness! Perfect since Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
