Day 13 of Creative Play

Make a large floor mural and color! You can use mural paper if you have it, but I just taped computer paper to the floor.

Go Outside! It would have been better if we could have played a bit, but since it is winter, the ground was wet, so we put on warm clothes and went for a stroll and got some fresh air. Such a pretty day!

Day 10 of Creative Play

Today my husband, father, and brother all got together to replace my kitchen counter and sink so I took Kip and my niece, Willow to the Library for day 10. Field Trip Day! The library is a great place for little ones. They have lots of books, music, and puzzles for them to enjoy. Here are some pics of my new sink and counter. Kip was interested in learning how it was done!

Water Play. Just added a little food color to make it pretty and let him have at it.

Day 8 of Creative Play

Small world play. I decided to do a farm with Kip. I taped down some green construction paper for grass and then set up his barn and fences and got out some of his small animals. He seemed to enjoy this. Sometimes a "tornado" would come through the farm though and he would just knock all the stuff down. :)

Day 7 of Creative Play

Hide and Seek with a toy. This was so cute watching him look for his toy horse.

Day 6 of Creative Play

Making Music. He seemed to really like this. I put some rice in a little yellow snack cup that I had with a lid and he used it as a maraca. Then I started singing "When the Ants Go Marching" and hitting 2 spoons together and marching around the house and he started following me around with his maraca. So sweet!
